
PATIENTS 'RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS DURING HOSPITALIZATION

I. PATIENT RIGHTS:
a) To be accompanied by nurses, if they are in serious condition or not transportable (on a stretcher or with a stroller) in the ward, as well as in other compartments in relation to the provisions of the attending physician; The valid patient will go to the examinations on other wards, accompanied by the medical staff.
b) To be helped by the nurse to feed in proper hygienic conditions, in compliance with the diet prescribed by the attending physician.
c) To be helped to do his daily toilet according to his condition.
d) To carry out as soon as possible the investigations for specifying the diagnosis and application of the complete medical treatment (curative, preventive and recovery) individualized and differentiated in relation to the patient's condition, nature and evolutionary stage of the disease.
e) To be informed (the patient or the closest persons) on the disease and the evolution, in order to ensure the efficiency of the applied treatment.
f) To ensure a pleasant ambiance, a diet corresponding to the disease both in terms of quantity and quality, as well as a serving of food in hygienic conditions.
g) To be allowed - in special cases and with the approval of the head doctor of the department - hospitalization with a companion, in compliance with the legal provisions.
h) To leave the hospital upon request, after having been previously informed by the possible consequences on his state of health, being recorded under the signature of the patient and the doctor, this situation, in the Observation Sheet.
i) To be issued at discharge the exit ticket, drawn up by the attending physician with the approval of the chief physician of the department, as well as to receive treatment recommendations after discharge, possibly medical leave certificates, free / compensated prescriptions.
j) To complete the discharge satisfaction questionnaire.
k) To benefit from all medical care, without being conditioned by material advantages or personal services.
PATIENT'S OBLIGATIONS:
a) To respect and maintain the state of cleanliness in the living room, corridors, bathrooms, etc.
b) To ensure the preservation of the hospital linen received (pajamas, bathrobe).
c) To keep the food brought by the family in the refrigerator.
d) To respect the medical-sanitary personnel.
e) Not to leave the hospital during the hospitalization, except in the cases recommended by the doctor (consultations or analyzes at other health units).
f) To observe the prescriptions of the attending physician.
g) To present at the hospitalization the referral note from the family doctor, the identity document, the pension voucher, the certificate from CAS ARGES.
h) To respect the program of rest, meal service and reception of visitors of the unit or the one established in quarantine situations.
i) To report to the head nurse or the head doctor of the department any deficiency occurred during his hospitalization, in connection with the non-observance of his rights as a patient.
j) Not to store food received from the family (members) in bedside tables or on the windowsills of the living room.
k) Do not throw any object (food, garbage, etc.) on the windows of the salon.
l) Not to introduce alcoholic beverages in the hospital and not to consume such beverages.
m) Not to smoke inside the hospital.
